Waiter/Waitress Job Description:

Our restaurant is seeking a highly skilled and motivated waiter/waitress to join our dynamic team. As a waiter/waitress at Penn Grille and Bar, you will have the opportunity to showcase your multitasking abilities while delivering outstanding service to our guests.

In addition to taking and delivering orders, your role will involve greeting guests, seating them, and assisting with menu recommendations. You will also be responsible for handling cash and credit card transactions. Your friendly and positive attitude will contribute to ensuring our guests have a memorable dining experience.

We are looking for individuals who are problem-solvers, team players, and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities of a Waiter/Waitress:

• Greeting, seating, and escorting guests.
• Providing menu recommendations and additional information.
• Upselling additional products when appropriate.
• Checking ID's to prevent minors from ordering alcoholic beverages.
• Taking orders using software, order slips, or by memorization.
• Communicating order details to the kitchen staff.
• Delivering food and beverages in a timely fashion.
• Delivering checks and collecting bill payments.
• Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of tables and tableware.
• Providing exceptional customer experience.

Waiter/Waitress Job Requirements:

• Prior experience as a waiter/waitress.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to handle money transactions responsibly.
• Ability to multitask and act quickly.
• Flexibility to work in shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
