‘Avoid Drugs, Avail Jobs’: Shanu Green Jobs
DOHA : In a powerful bid to address the growing intersection between substance abuse and workplace productivity, Shanu Green Jobs has officially launched its latest advocacy campaign under the banner “Avoid Drugs, Avail Jobs.”
The initiative was unveiled by the organization’s Founder and Chairman during a high-profile group discussion organized in observance of World Drug Day. The event was jointly hosted by prominent socio-cultural and corporate entities, including Mediaplus, Mindtune Eco Waves, and The Way Corporate.

Speaking at the forum, the Chairman of Shanu Green Jobs emphasized that drug addiction is no longer just an isolated personal or health issue, but a critical socio-cultural crisis directly crippling the global workforce and economy.
“Drug addiction severely degrades employee performance, reduces cognitive efficiency, and destabilizes the job market,” Shanu stated. “Our goal is to shift the narrative by offering a direct alternative. We are calling on job aspirants to entirely quit substance abuse and instead immerse their energy into creative, sustainable, and rewarding green work.”
The “Avoid Drugs, Avail Jobs” campaign aims to incentivize recovery by linking clean living directly to economic opportunity, positioning green jobs as a therapeutic and constructive outlet for youth.
A central theme of the discussion was the pivotal role businesses play in combating societal drug issues. Shanu issued a strong appeal to the business community, urging founders and corporate leaders to take an active, zero-tolerance stance.
• Strict Anti-Drug Policies: Employers are urged to implement robust anti-drug frameworks within their corporate policies, covering both hiring and day-to-day operations.
• Supportive Environments: While maintaining strict standards, businesses are encouraged to create supportive corporate ecosystems that foster mental well-being and creative expression.
• Empowering the Next Generation: By prioritizing drug-free candidates, companies can actively motivate job seekers to maintain a healthy, professional lifestyle.
The co-organizers—Mediaplus, Mindtune Eco Waves, and The Way Corporate—echoed these sentiments, committing to utilize their respective platforms to spread awareness, drive environmental mindfulness, and promote corporate accountability.
