KBF Suhoor party blends spiritual ambiance with fraternity and togetherness

Doha: The annual Suhoor gathering organized by the Kerala Business Forum (KBF) brought together an inspiring blend of spiritual reflection, fraternity, and community bonding, reaffirming the deeper values of the Holy Month of Ramadan. Held at the elegant Hyatt Regency Oryx Doha, the event drew an impressive gathering of business leaders, entrepreneurs, and community members from across Doha.

The evening was marked by an atmosphere of serenity and unity, reflecting the true spirit of Ramadan. The program underlined the importance of compassion, caring, righteousness, and social responsibility—core principles that define the holy month. Speakers emphasized that Ramadan is not merely a period of fasting, but a time for self-purification, spiritual elevation, and strengthening bonds within society.

The Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of India Doha Dr.Sandeep Kumar attended the function as the chief guest. In his keynote address, he highlighted the profound spiritual dimensions of Ramadan, noting that spiritual caring naturally paves the way for material caring and compassion. He pointed out that when individuals purify their minds and intentions, their actions become more meaningful and socially responsible. Emphasizing the importance of integrity and ethical conduct, he stated that purity of mind and action is the foundation of a progressive and harmonious society.

KBF General Secretary Abdul Gafoor Makkatteri delivered the Ramadan message, urging the audience to embrace the essence of God-consciousness (Taqwa) and piety. He reminded attendees that fasting is not limited to abstaining from food and drink, but also involves disciplining one’s thoughts, words, and actions. “Ramadan teaches us to be more compassionate, more patient, and more responsible towards society,” he said, calling upon the gathering to translate the lessons of the holy month into everyday life.

KBF President Shaheen Muhammed Shafi, who chaired the function, underscored the importance of rising to the expectations of such a meaningful occasion. He urged members to strengthen unity within the business community and to actively contribute to social welfare initiatives. “Fraternity and togetherness are not just words; they are responsibilities we must carry forward beyond Ramadan,” he remarked.

A significant highlight of the evening was the launch of the official 10th-year logo of KBF, marking a milestone in the organization’s journey. The unveiling symbolized a decade of commitment to fostering collaboration, entrepreneurship, and community service among business professionals in Qatar. The leadership reflected on the growth and achievements of KBF over the past ten years and reaffirmed its vision for continued progress and meaningful engagement.

The Suhoor gathering witnessed the participation of a large number of prominent business owners and entrepreneurs from Doha, representing diverse sectors of the Qatari economy. Their presence reflected the unity and solidarity within the business fraternity and their shared commitment to upholding ethical values and social responsibility. Apex body presidents including A.P.Maniknatan ( ICC) ,Shanavas Bava (ICBF), E.P.Abdurahiman( ISC) and Taha Muhammed (IBPC) were present on the occasion. The former presidents of KBF including Abdulla Theruvath (Founder President and K.R.Jayaraj were also inevitable part of the celebration.

The event successfully combined the spiritual essence of Ramadan with the warmth of fellowship, reinforcing the ideals of compassion, righteousness, and collective well-being. It concluded with a sumptuous Suhoor dinner, offering attendees an opportunity to interact, exchange ideas, and strengthen professional and personal relationships in an atmosphere of goodwill.

The KBF Suhoor Party once again demonstrated that Ramadan is a time not only for spiritual renewal but also for building bridges of understanding, cooperation, and shared purpose—values that ultimately contribute to the betterment of society as a whole.

A dedicated panel of managing committee members of KBF including Sheji Valiyakath, Johnson , Anwar Sreejith padmajan , shimna and Vipin conducted the event with professionalism and care and that made the party memorable to all those who attended .
