Qatar Tec applauds Kerala government’s Operation Toofan; extends full support to anti-drug campaign

Doha, Qatar: Qatar Tec, one of Qatar’s leading manpower supply companies, has expressed its wholehearted support for the Kerala Government’s “Operation Toofan”, a comprehensive initiative aimed at combating the growing menace of narcotics and dismantling the drug mafia operating across the state.
Addressing a World Drug Day awareness programme organized at the company, Jebi K. John, Managing Director of Qatar Tec, commended the Kerala Government for launching a determined and timely campaign against drug abuse. He emphasized that the increasing spread of narcotic substances among young people has become one of the most serious social challenges of the present time, demanding collective action from every section of society.

The programme highlighted the alarming global rise in drug addiction and underscored the need for preventive education, early intervention, and sustained public awareness. Speakers stressed that every individual has a role to play in building a drug-free society and that awareness remains one of the most effective tools in preventing addiction.
Speaking on the occasion, Laiju Varghese, Admin & Procurement Manager, emphasized that workplaces should actively promote awareness about the dangers of drug abuse. He noted that organizations can contribute significantly by encouraging healthy lifestyles, conducting educational programmes, and fostering a culture of responsibility among employees.
Sreeregha Parayilvalappil, Accounts Supervisor, highlighted the importance of strengthening family values and educating young people from an early age. She observed that informed communities and strong family support systems are essential in preventing substance abuse and ensuring the well-being of future generations.

Rocka Power Gym joins anti-drug campaign, promotes fitness as the path to a healthy future

Doha: Reinforcing its commitment to building a healthier and drug-free society, Rocka Power Gym has joined the growing anti-drug awareness movement by launching a campaign encouraging young people to embrace fitness, discipline, and a positive lifestyle instead of substance abuse.
As part of the initiative, the management and coaching team of the gym called upon the community, especially the youth, to reject drugs and choose health, determination, and self-confidence as the foundation for a successful future.
Addressing the campaign, Farahat Rokia, Manager of Rocka Power Gym, said that drug abuse remains one of the greatest threats facing today’s younger generation and that fitness centres have a significant role in guiding people toward healthier lifestyles.
“Drugs destroy health, families, and dreams. Fitness, discipline, and a positive lifestyle build confidence, strength, and success.
