കഴിഞ്ഞ 24 മണിക്കൂറില്‍ നടത്തിയ 9975 പരിശോധനയില്‍ 207പേര്‍ക്ക് കോവിഡ് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു. ഇതില്‍ സാമൂഹ്യ വ്യാപനത്തിലൂടെയുള്ള കേസുകള്‍ 143 ആണ്. 64 പേര്‍ യാത്രക്കാരാണ്. 117 പേര്‍ക്ക് മാത്രമാണ് രോഗമുക്തി റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്തത്. ഇതോടെ ചികില്‍സയിലുള്ള മൊത്തം രോഗികളുടെ എണ്ണം 2474 ആയി ഉയര്‍ന്നു.

ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ ചികില്‍സയിലുള്ളവരുടെ എണ്ണം 263 ആണ്. അതില്‍ 33 പേര്‍ തീവ്ര പരിചരണ വിഭാഗത്തിലാണ് .

കോവിഡിന്റെ തീവ്രതയെ രാജ്യം അതിജീവിച്ചെങ്കിലും കോവിഡ് പൂര്‍ണമായും നീങ്ങുന്നതുവരെ ജാഗ്രത തുടരണമെന്ന് അധികൃതര്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നു.
