ഗ്രൂപ്പ് എ: 20 മുതല്‍ 30 വയസ്സ് വരെയുള്ളവര്‍, ഗ്രൂപ്പ് ബി: 30 വയസ്സിന് മുകളിലുള്ളവര്‍, ഗ്രൂപ്പ് സി 40 വയസ്സിനു മുകളിലുള്ളവര്‍ ഗ്രൂപ്പ് ഡി : വനിത എന്നിങ്ങനെ 4 വിഭാഗങ്ങളിലാണ് മല്‍സരം. 20 വയസ്സിന് മുകളിലുള്ള വനിതകള്‍ക്കാണ് മല്‍സരങ്ങളില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാവുന്നത്.
ഗ്രൂപ്പ് എ വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ ഓട്ടം 100, 200, 1500 മീറ്റര്‍, 4×100 മീറ്റര്‍ റിലെ, ലോങ്ങ്ജംബ്, ഹൈജംബ്, എന്നീ മത്സരങ്ങളും ഗ്രൂപ്പ് ബി വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ 100, 200, 800 മീറ്റര്‍ ഓട്ടം, 4×100 മീറ്റര്‍ റിലെ, ജാവലിന്‍, ഷോട്പുട്ട്, ആംറസലിങ്ങ് എബൗ എയ്റ്റി, ബിലോ എയ്റ്റി ഗ്രൂപ്പ് സി വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ 1 00, 800 മീറ്റര്‍,, ഷോട്ട്പുട്ട് എന്നീ മത്സരങ്ങളുമാണ് ഉണ്ടാവുക. വനിതകള്‍ക്കായി (ഗ്രൂപ്പ് സി) 100 മീറ്റര്‍ ഓട്ടം, 200 മീറ്റര്‍ ഓട്ടം, 4×100 മീറ്റര്‍ റിലെ, ലോങ്ങ്ജംബ്, കമ്പവലി, ജാവലിന്‍, ഷോട്പുട്ട്, ആംറസലിങ്ങ് എബൗ എയ്റ്റി, ബിലോ എയ്റ്റി എന്നീ മത്സരങ്ങളും നടക്കും.
