ദോഹ. ഖത്തറില്‍ കോവിഡ് കേസുകള്‍ കൂടുന്നു.ജാഗ്രതയോടെ പ്രതിരോധിക്കണം. ജനുവരി തുടക്കം മുതലേ കോവിഡ് കേസുകള്‍ കൂടി വരുന്നത് ആരോഗ്യ വകുപ്പിനും പൊതുജനങ്ങള്‍ക്കും ശക്തമായ വെല്ലുവിളിയാണ്.

ഡിസംബര്‍ 23 മുതല്‍ വാക്‌സിന്‍ നല്‍കാന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയതോടെ ജനങ്ങളിലുണ്ടായ ജാഗ്രതക്കുറവാകാം കോവിഡ് കേസുകള്‍ കൂടാന്‍ കാരണമെന്നാണ് പറയപ്പെടുന്നത്. ഖത്തറില്‍ കോവിഡിന്റെ രണ്ടാം തരംഗമില്ലെന്ന് അധികൃതര്‍ ആവര്‍ത്തിച്ച് വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

ഫെബ്രുവരിയോടെ മെഡോണയുടെ വാക്‌സിന്‍ കൂടി എത്തുന്നതോടെ കൂടുതലാളുകള്‍ക്ക് വാക്‌സിന്‍ നല്‍കാന്‍ കഴിയും. കോവിഡ് പ്രോട്ടോക്കോളുകള്‍ പാലിക്കുന്നു എന്നുറപ്പുവരുത്തുന്നതിനുള്ള പരിശോധനകളും നടക്കുന്നുണ്ട്

കഴിഞ്ഞ 24 മണിക്കൂറില്‍ നടന്ന 10143 പരിശോധനകളില്‍ 299 പേര്‍ക്കാണ് കോവിഡ് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്. ഇതില്‍ 264 പേര്‍ സാമൂഹ്യ വ്യാപന്ത്തിലൂടെ രോഗം ബാധിച്ചവരും 35 പേര്‍ യാത്രക്കാരുമാണ്.
143 പേര്‍ക്ക് മാത്രമാണ് രോഗ മുക്തി റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്തത്. ഇതോടെ ചികില്‍സയിലുള്ള മൊത്തം രോഗികളുടെ എണ്ണം 4223 ആയി ഉയര്‍ന്നു.
380 പേര്‍ ആശുപത്രിയിലാണ്. ഇതില്‍ 40 പേര്‍ തീവ്രപരിചരണ വിഭാഗത്തിലാണ്
