പൊതുജനങ്ങളുടെ ആരോഗ്യം ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തുന്നതിനും കൊറോണ വൈറസ് വ്യാപനം തടയുന്നതിനും ആരോഗ്യ മന്ത്രാലയം ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയ നിര്‍ദേശങ്ങള്‍ പാലിക്കുന്നതില്‍ വീഴ്ച വരുത്തിയതിനാണ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തതെന്ന് അധികൃതര്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തവരെ തുടര്‍നടപടികള്‍ക്കായി പബ്ലിക് പ്രൊസിക്യൂഷന് കൈമാറും.

അബ്ദുല്ല അബ്ദുള്‍റഹ്മാന്‍ മുഹമ്മദ് അല്‍ മനീഫ് അല്‍ ഹാജരി, അബ്ദുല്‍റഹ്മാന്‍ അലി ഹമദ് ഷഫ അല്‍ കര്‍ബി; മുഹമ്മദ് അബ്ദുല്ല അലി ഹസ്സന്‍ സാദ്, ഫൈസല്‍ റാഷിദ് മഹ്ബൂബ് ബുഹാക്കാബ് അല്‍-ദോസരി, റാഷിദ് അബ്ദുല്ല റാഷിദ് നോറ അല്‍ മര്‍രി, അബ്ദുല്‍ ഹാദി മുഹമ്മദ് മറായ് അല്‍ കടാദി അല്‍ ഹാജരി, നാസര്‍ അലി സാലിഹ് അല്‍ ആദ് അല്‍ മര്‍രി എന്നിവരാണ് അറസ്റ്റിലായത്.

വീട്ടില്‍ നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലിരിക്കുന്നവര്‍ പൊതുജനങ്ങളുടെ സുരക്ഷ മാനിച്ച് ആരോഗ്യപ്രവര്‍ത്തകര്‍ നിര്‍ദേശിക്കുന്ന നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങള്‍ കര്‍ശനമായി പാലിക്കണമെന്ന് അധികൃതര്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.

നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങള്‍ ലംഘിക്കുന്നവരെ 2004ലെ പീനല്‍ കോഡ് നമ്പര്‍ (11) ലെ ആര്‍ട്ടിക്കിള്‍ (253), പകര്‍ച്ചവ്യാധികള്‍ തടയുന്നതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് 1990 ലെ ആര്‍ട്ടിക്കിള്‍ (17), 2002 ലെ സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ സുരക്ഷ സംബന്ധിച്ച ആര്‍ട്ടിക്കിള്‍ 17 എന്നിവ അനുസരിച്ചുള്ള ശിക്ഷാനടപടികള്‍ക്ക് വിധേയരാക്കും.

സ്വദേശികളും വിദേശികളും നിയമ വ്യവസ്ഥകള്‍ പാലിക്കുന്നതില്‍ സഹകരിക്കുകയും മഹാമാരിയെ പ്രതിരോധിക്കുവാന്‍ ഒത്തൊരുമിച്ച് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയും വേണമെന്ന് അധികൃതര്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
